Triango is a unique project of maestro Peter Breiner, the fantastic jazz violinist Stano Palúch, and outstandingly versatile accordionist Boris Lenko. The fundamental repertoire of the trio is an impressive mixture of tango and jazz improvisations. It is the result of detailed research and creative input by which Triango enriches the classical compositions of the brothers De Caro, Villoldo, Gobbi, and Piazolla. Triango also introduces its own musical themes, always keeping in mind that passion, nostalgia, and melancholy create the very essence of tango.

Triango has recorded two albums (Triango, 2007; Super Triango, 2011), has appeared as a guest at jazz and classical music festivals, and has made several successful concert tours (Europe and USA).

The latest music project of Triango is The Slovak Dances—jazz adaptations of Slovak folk songs. The original work was composed by Peter Breiner as a 90-minute symphonic suite premiered in 2013, and currently is being performed as a full length ballet by the Slovak National Theatre to great press acclaim. Triango introduced the chamber adaptation of the Slovak Dances for Triango and Orchestra in the Carnegie Hall (New York) in December 2016. The chamber jazz adaptation includes the guest jazzman and multi-instrumentalist Marian Friedl.
