Violin Workshop is a unique competition undertaken for violinists from music schools all over Slovakia, in conjunction with a workshop and a concert by the winners of previous Violin Works competitions.  Through its seventeen years, the competition’s laureates have included renowned Slovak violinists, such as Dalibor Karvay (winner of the first competition), Alexej Rosik, Daniel Turčina and Karol Daniš.  Since 1993, the chief supporter of Violin Works has been the well-known violin soloist and teacher Jindřich Pazdera, who also mounts the stage during this annual Winners‘ Concert arranged by the Slovak Sinfonietta.
